Motor-Racing INDIANAPOLIS RACE
Preparations Start (N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) INDIANAPOLIS. May 2. Practice runs for the s'JOmile car race on May 30 began yesterday after track-opening ceremonies at the Indianapolis motor speedway. The field of 69 cars has only 12 days in which to work out. to get acquainted with the track, and take their tests. Qualifying runs that will cut the field to 33 starters begin on May 13.
