H.P. Chairman Says “Wait”
(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, May 3. Huddart Parker Industries. Ltd., chairman (Mr G. Noall) has asked shareholders to await his advice before giving a proxy to a “rebel” group. He said the board is examining the circular sent to shareholders yesterday by Mr J. R. Parker. Mr Parker, a son Of Mr T. J. Parker, former chairman and still a director of Huddart Parker, heads a group seeking to replace three existing directors.
