Settling In Rapidly

(N.Z. Prtu Antociatton) WELLINGTON, May 3. The new Minister of Agriculture (Mr Hayman), who yesterdav moved from the Postmasrter-General’B suite to that of the Minister of Agriculture. is losing no time in settling in. Today, he held discussions with the Director-General of Agriculture (Mr P. W. Smallfield) and the Assistant Director-General (Dr, Ira Cuninghamk Next Tuesday he will open the Southland Winter Show at Invercargill and later go to Dunedin to present the Loder Cup to Mr William Martin. He will later inspect the Taieri site proposed for the Veterinary School, and listen to the pleas of the Otago League of Local Bodies and the Otago University authorities tor the veterinary school to be located there. Next Wednesday afternoon. Mr Hayman will open the annual conference of Otago Federated Farmers.
