NEW SCOUT DEN

St. Paul’s Group, Papanui

St. Paul’s Scout Group's new den in Papanui will be officially opened by the Provincial Commissioner (Sir Joseph Ward) on Saturday. The 400 sq. fit. den has been built without cost by a member of the committee who is a builder. Jumble sales, cake stalls and bottle drives have provided funds for material# used in building the den. “The committee has plans for extending the den with, in the next few years as its present size will be inadequate to cope with the increasing numbers of boys who will be using it,” said Mrs M. Goode, chairman of the group’s committee.
