ARCHITECTURE SCHOLARSHIP

Award Every Three Years

A scholarship worth £lOOO has been instituted by New Zealand Sisalkraft. Ltd., to enable a New Zealand architect to travel and study overseas The scholarship will be known as the New Zeafand Sisalkraft Research Scholarship in Architecture. It will be awarded every three years. The purpose of the scholarship is to enable a selected architect to study the practice of architecture and the building industry and to obtain training and experience in the duties of an executive architect for the better management and organisation of building projects. Candidates will be selected by a panel of three from the New Zealand Institute of Architects. The candidates will be required to complete three months’ research overseas and must submit a written report on their return. In addition the candidate will be required to give a series of lectures to the institute. Applicants must be under 35. graduates of a recognised school of architecture and have at least tw’o years experience after graduation.
