Board Informs Commission
(NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 3. Six tenders, each for £4Bl, were submitted to the Auckland Transport Board for the supply of 250 yards of armoured cable for use in the trolley-bus feeder system. A letter from the board to the secretary of the Trade Practices Commission cites this as an instance of “ring tendering" by certain Auckland firms. The information has been given to the secretary for any action considered appropriate.
