SATELLITE SYSTEMS
Private Use Investigated (N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, May 1. The United States House Space Committee has announced it will look into plans by private firms to use earth satellites to set up world-wide television and voice communication systems. The committee said last night it would explore "all aspects of this complex development” at week-lpng hearings starting on Thursday. The commercial possibilities look so good that industrial firms were already jockeying for position, according to United Press International.
