Y.W.C.A. Board of Directors.—Arrangements were made for the Stay at Home Camp for schoolgirls to be held in the May school holidays, at a recent meeting of the Young Women's Christian Association Board of Directors. The programme will include crafts, games, Scottish dancing, a visit to a factory, a picnic at Spencerville and a concert to which the girls’ mothers will be invited. Mrs A. K. Thompson was appointed convener of the Cathedral square stall for the annual street appeal on October 6. New clubs will begin this 'month for indoor bowls and for young married women. Miss Ivy Webb was appointed Y.W C.A. representative to the National Council of Women. The following were welcomed by the president as new members of :he board: Mesdames W D. ■ Bunt. D P Caird. P. Linwood Townswomen.— The fourteenth birthday party of the Linwood Townswomen’s Guild was held recently, when items were given by the Somerfleld guild. The new president 'Mrs E Meers) cut the birthday cake, which was made and given by the immediate past-president (Mrs G Lamont) The vice-president (Mrs E Rainbow) presented Mrs Meers with flowers, and the second vice-president (Mrs L. Brown), wished her happiness in her new office Kaituna W.D.F.F.— Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Kaituna Women’s Division of Federated Farmers were:—President. Mrs L. Cooper, vice-president, Mrs R. Martini; secretary, Mrs L Humphrey; treasurer. Miss B. Coop; assistance secretary and reporter, Mrs S. Patten; committee, Mesdames M. Willis, G. Gray. L. Watson, G.
