COLOUR FILM PROCESSING
NX Laboratories To Open "The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND. May 2. Two new laboratories which will open in New Zea-| land late this year will reduce colour film processing time from the present two to three weeks to about three days. Colour films now are sent to Australia for processing Lower prices are also pre-! dieted. Almost simultaneously two leading firms have announced plans for big laboratories—one at Titahi Bay. Welling- 1 ton. and the other at Mount Albert In Wellington, the new building will cover 45.000 sq ft in two storeys. The Mount Albert plan is for 15 000 sq ft with a view to later expansions on the three-acre site Both groups will be installing highly complex electronic equipment and the total plans of the two should cost almost £750,000. In the last two years colour film imports have almost doubled.
