Senior Referees Named
The Canterbury Rugby Referees’ Association has named a panel of 13 referees for senior grade matches this season. They are Messrs F. B. Campbell. R. G. Condliffe, F. Goodman. L. Hunt, H. P. Kearney, L. S. Kirk. A. V. Langford, R. O. McDowell. K. Noonan. R. W. Phizachlea, J. H. Stone, A. R. Taylor and L. M. West. Two more names will probably be added to the panel. Schoolboys To Play For Clubs Secondary school pupils will be eligible to play for other clubs in the school holidays. This was decided at a meeting of the management committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union last evening. When Mr O. Noonan (junior advisory board! asked for a ruling on this question the president (Mr H. C.| Blazey) said that it had been the custom to allow schoolboys to play for other clubs.
