Murder Of Two Girls IN.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) HOLLAND (Michigan), May 1. A police manhunt was launched late last night for a 16-year-old boy charged with the killing of two young girls. The Ottawa county sheriff (Mr Bernard Grysen). obtained the first-degree murder warrant against James Cott Stephens, aged 16. who fled from his home after allegedly leaving a note confessing to two “accidental” shootings. United Press International said. County police have been searching for the girls, Carol Gee, aged 11, and Margaret Chambers, aged 12, since they failed to return from a trip to pick wild flowers in the rugged Macatawa Hills, south of the city. During the height of the search yesterday, more than 500 men probed the woods o> the area. They travelled on horseback. by helicopters, in light aircraft, in motor vehicles and on foot. Bloodhounds were also used in the forest wilds of the Lake Michigan resort area and skin divers probed the bottom of Lake Macatawa.
