Although the bulk of the offering did not find buyers willing to pay rates as ’ high as the values ruling at ’ earlier sales this season, some ' lines realised £8 to £lO in 5 advance of the prices obtained at the sale last year. The range of prices was: j Shorthorn steer calves, best » up to £2B: good, £25 to £27 > 10s; best Shorthorn heifer 3 calves to £25; best Aberdeen ! Angus cross steer calves, £26 > to £2B; best Aberdeen Angus cross heifers £22 to £25; Shorthorn-Aberdeen Angus cross calves sold up to £24.
