Channel Crossing In Bath
(N.ZP~A.-Reuter— Copyright) LONDON, May 2. A 21-y ear-olu British chemistry student plans to cross the English channel, in a bath. According to the “Daily Sketch,’* the student, Alan Witt, of Brighton, bought the tub for five shillings. It still had hot and cold taps, but no plug hole. An outboard motor has been added. Witt is expected to cross the channel in 10 hours on a calm day this summer.
