Shareholders’ Move <N Z Pre» Association) DUNEDIN. May 2. A private meeting of Dunedin shareholders in the Standard Insurance Company. Ltd., tonight recommended that shareholders vote against the adoption of the directors’ report at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in Dunedin on May 8. A committee of four was appointed to define the line of action to be taken, and to meet and confer with representatives of shareholders from other centres with a view to concerted action. The meeting also agreed to support the Auckland resolution that three liquidators be appointed. The committee elected by the meeting was Messrs E. A. Bolwell. R. H. Henderson. R. C. Burgess, and Charles Lee. The meeting, which was held in the RS.A. hall, was attended by about 85 shareholders. The chairman was Mr W. N. Satterthwaite.
