Personal Items
General Herbert P. Powell commanding general of the United States Continental Army Command, will visit New Zealand as a guest of the Government next month. General Powell, who will be accompanied by Mrs Powell, will arrive in Auckland on May 14, after visiting Australia, and will take part in the Coral Sea Battle celebrations to be held in Auckland on May 15. He Will arrive in Wellington on May 16 to make a number of official calls.—(PA.)
