Sabbatical Leave For City Surgeon
Mr H. T. Thompson, thoracic surgeon to the North Canterbury Hospital Board, will visit the United States, Scandinavia, and England later this year on sabbatical leave. He will go in early June and will be away about four months. In the United States, Mr Thompson will call at the Mayo Clinic at Rochester and will visit Boston to see thoracic surgery there. In Europe, he will call on thoracic centres in Stockholm. Copenhagen, London. Birmingham, Leeds, and Oxford
