INTERMEDIATE SCHOOLS
New Committees Elected
Elections of intermediate school committees were held in Christchurch last evening. The first meeting of each committee was held after the election. The new committees are:—
Heaton (15).—Messrs K. A. W. Doell (chairman). P. J. Puck (secretary), R. W. Yates (treasurer), D. A. Brown, H E. Cocks. L. Cox. E. L. Jones, L W. Spence, and L. H. K. Wootten.
Linwood (19).—Messrs W. R. Langford (chairman), R. W. Taylor (secretary), L. W. Claridge (treasurer). R. H. Paton. M. E. Barnden, and Mesdames B. N. Whitlam, J. E. Tupze, and G. Watson. Shirley (12).—Messrs H. C. Biggs (chairman), A. V. Frewer, A. C. Rickerby, C. W. Harrison, and Mesdames E. W Clarke, L. R. Hartley, and V. Allen. Other officers to be elected later.
