GUINEAS RACES IN FRANCE
Solitude And Right Royal Win
CW-ZPA.-Fevter—- _ 1-4. J PARIS, April 30. Soutude. owned by Mr Francois Dupre and ridden by Saint-Martin, won the French One Thousand Guineas, run over one mile at Longchamps today. Valdon was second and the Aga Khan’s Denebolia. ridden by the Australian, Neville Sellwood, was third. Solitude, the favourite, won by a head, with two lengths between second and third. The winner's stake was worth £11.025.
Right Royal, owned by Mrs Jean Couturies and ridden by Rogpr Poincelet, won the French Two Thousand Guineas.
Right Royal won by two lengths from Jorge de Atucha's Cocomel. ridden by Maxime Garcia, and Mrs R. L Strassburger’s Cartaret, ridden by Gerard Thiboeuf. Right Royal, the favourite, won by two lengths, with one length between second and third.
