Rangiora Affairs
Sir. —According to your report of the Rangiora Borough Council meeting, the borough is considering paying £3BO to put in a car park at the town hall If the council has £3BO to spend I can show them places that need it more. They should have a look at the too tty’th rm -outh side of Seddon street, and there are several otbc.s in the town in the same cracked and uneven state. I see Councillor Farr says £3BO is a ridiculous estimate for the car park job As far as I am concerned 6d would be too high an estimate for something we can do without till more important works in the town have been attended to.—Yours, etc., SPRAINED ANKLE. April 28, 1961. T.
