TRACTION ENGINE RALLY

Varied Programme At Tinwald Fine weather made it pleasant for those who went to the Traction Engine Rally at Tinwald on Saturday. About 2500 people, less than was expected, attended the rally and the gate takings were £l5B.

Much Interest was taken in the~ targe engines as they showed their paces in the ring. Go-kart races were also popular. Another attraction was the demonstration by two shearers of a 1907 shearing machine.
