Woolworths Issue
SYDNEY, April 28. Woolworths, Ltd., is to make a new Issue of capital to shareholders, the chairman. Mr C. Scott Waine, announced today. He told shareholders at the annual meeting that details of the issue would be determined later, "having regard to the then existing conditions.” Mr Scott Waine said it appeared the financial resources of the company would be sufficient to meet its needs in 1961.
