Reserves Up Again
New Zealand’s overseas reserves rose £l.2m to £5lSm in the week ended April 19, according to preliminary statistics issued yesterday by the Reserve Bank. The latest recovery comes after three weeks of declines, totalling £4.6m. This year's mid-April figure compares with £ 104.9 m in 1960, £ 82.5 m in 1959, and £4?.lm in 1958.
