•The Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL, April 27. The Logan Derby gelding Stinger has been sold to Australia and he will be shipped next month to Melbourne where he will join the team of P. Pells, who has been successful recently with other Southland purchases in You Wait and Wee Frances. Stinger, which won from

end to end over two miles at Gore last Saturday, has won his way out of Southland classes. He has won three of his last six starts and has proved himself a useful front runner and has handled both good and bad tracks. Stinger has been raced by his trainer, A. McLellan, of Invercargill. ,
