The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) tonight paid a warm tribute to President de Gaulle for his handling of the revolt in Algeria. “I have been in close touch with our embassy in Paris during the crisis," he said, “and I have been deeply impressed by the decisiveness and devotion to principle with which President de Gaulle has responded to this very serious threat to Algerian and French liberties. “Had the rebellion succeeded, Algeria would have
