DOUBTFUL STARTER

Sailor man In Okuku Sailorman, winner of his last three races for Mr H. Kearns, is a doubtful starter in the Okuku Hack Handicap at Riccarton tomorrow.

There is nothing wrong wjth the three-year-old Kurdistan gelding he thrived on his racing at Nelson—but his connexions may out him aside for a few weeks and bring him back for a spring campaign next season.

W. D. Skelton was engaged to ride Sailorman but will switch to William David if the top weight is scratched.
