BEHAVIOUR AT ARTHUR’S PASS
Improvement Noted By Ranger Behaviour of • visitors to Arthur’s Pass township was good last year, the senior park ranger of the Arthur’s Pass National Park (Mr P. Croft) said in his report to a meeting of the txferd yesterday. “No convictions were made, but a number of reprimands were issued for minor breaches of the park regulations," he said. “Railway excursions to the park were again popular and more family groups participated. Some damage to tracks and signs was done on excursion days. Constant vigilance was the only answer to this problem.”
