MATERNITY VISITING
Grandparents Alloived
Visiting by the grandparents of the child as well as the father was allowed to maternity patients in the North Canterbury Hospital Board’s institutions. the medical superintendent-in-chief (Dr. T. Morton) said yesterday. He was replying to a question on visiting rules at the Rangiora Hospital. “Visiting is allowed daily.” said Dr. Morton. “In the afternoon. fathers and grandparents may visit. In the evening, only the fathers are normally allowed in, but if a father cannot visit on a particular evening the grandparents may go instead.”
