Performance By Junior Quartet

At a function on Monday evening the Christchurch branch of the English Speaking Union was entertained by the Christchurch Junior String Quartet. The quartet comprises Robin Perks (first violin). Marjorie Dumb’eton (viola), Philippa Harding ('cello), and Susan Jones (second violin). The quartet played a Haydn quartet, op. 33. No. 2. and Alfred Hill’s Quartet No. 11 in D Minor. The quartet will compete in the junior string quartet competitions at Lower Hutt in May.
