Yaldhurst W.D.F.F.—Mrs T A. Guy presided at the recent annual meeting of the Yaldhurst W.D.F.F., when the following officers were elected: —President, Mrs W. E Wright; vice-president, Mesdames C, Campion and G. Gregg; • secretary-treasurer, Mrs H. Tomes; competition secretary, Mrs P. Berry Competition winners for the year are as follows: Mrs T. Crawford (61 points), 1; Mrs W. E. Wright (51 points), 2; Mrs C. Campion (45 points). 3. The Federated Farmers Cup for cooking, and the Bearman Rose Bowl for the most points gained in all competitions, were won by Mrs T. Crawford. A flavoured milk stall had oeen held at the Floral Festival for the branch’s aged people project. when £l7 Os 8d was raised. A dance was held recently for the same purpose, when £lB 12s 6d was raised. The total was given to the thanksgiving fund for aged people’s welfare.
