Mrs J. Saunders, of the Canterbury provincial executive of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, presided at thg annual meeting of the Belfast branch of the W,DF.F. The following officers were elected. —President, Mrs R Chapman; vice-presidents. Mesdames A. Mitchell, R. Barnes; secretary. Mrs W. Waites; treasurer. Mrs R Halligan: committee, Mesdames C. Arps. R. Don. H Deavoll, M. Ludwig. J. Murfitt, G. Salt. N. Cook, Miss M. Crawford; advisory members. Mesdames R. Chapman, R. Halligan; delegates to provincial executive. Mesdames R. Chapman. R. Halligan. W. Waites; sick visitors. Mesdames C. Arps, M. Ludwig; competition stewards, Mrs N. Cook, Miss M. Crawford; judge, Miss J. Dunlop. Competition winners were, Mrs S. Wood (most points, first cooking, equal first sewing), Miss M. Crawford (first large bloom, small bloom, spike or cluster, decorative). Mrs N. Cook (equal first sewing).
