£2l00 FOUND
Man’s Discovery In House A hoard of £2lOO in £5 notes has been found under the kitchen floor of a house in Bryndwr by an 82-year-old n>an who was doing repairs to the house. The money is now in the hands of the police. The notes were packed in four tins, each 6in by 4in, and with air holes to prevent mould. The last note in the bundle was issued in 1954. Detective-Inspector C. G. Urquhart said yesterday that there would probably be at least two Claimants to the money. It appeared that the money had been hidden by a previous owner of the house. He said that it would be exceeding bis authority to name the address of the house or the possible claimants.
