FUNERAL OF MR GILLESPIE.—TOP: The cortege leaving St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Oxford, yesterday afternoon after a memorial service to the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Gillespie). The service was conducted by the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren). BOTTOM: The procession to the graveside at the Oxford lawn cemetery. On the left are the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) and the Minister of Finance (Mr Lake) and at right Mr A. Burke (chairman of the National Party for the Hurunui electorate) and Mr T. D. J. Holderness (chairman of the board of governors of Canterbury Agricultural College).
