STRUCK BY GOLF BALL

Rugby Player At Hagley

An under s*t 71b Rugby footballer was struck on the head by a golf ball while playing at Hagley Park last Saturday. This will be the subject of a letter to be written by the Canterbury Rugby Football Union to the Haxley Golf Club. The incident was reported to tile meeting of the management committee of the union on Monday evening by Mr O. M. Noonan, the junior advisory board delegate. He raid the boy was hit on the head by a “flying missile” while playing in a game on Hagley No. 7.
