TULLOCH AT TRACK
150 Beat Ban (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—-Copyright) ADELAIDE, April 25. More than 150 people beat the ban on Tulloch this morning and gained a sneak preview of the New Zealand-bred champion in action. Elaborate precautions were taken to hold the gallop in private, but this did not deter avid horse-lovers. many of whom were at the track as early as 5.30 a.m.
Tulloch, looking a picture of fitness, stepped on to the track about 6.45 a.m., and immediately drew murmurs of admiration.
The champion jumped away smoothly with Ringbank, and the pair matched strides for the whole of the half-mile journey. Tulloch got his head In front near the line, to defeat Ringbank by a neck, but gave the impression he could have increased that margin.
