DEATH OF MR GILLESPIE
Obituary In “The Times” (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON. April 24. An obituary in “The Times” on the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Gillespie) said: “His life was devoted to farming and farming interests, and in Parliament his authority on all agriculture subjects was acknowledged. As a parliamentarian he held strong opinions and expressed them firmly but with courtesy, friendliness and honesty.”
