ALLEGED PLOT IN GHANA

A major in the Ghana Army was arrested yesterday in connexion with the alleged assassin* ation plot against the Premier (Dr. Nkrumah)., the British United Press reported. Two Opposition members of Parliament, S. R. Amponsah and A. K. Apaloo, have been detained in Ghana in connexion with the pint. Mr Amponsah is said to have arranged to meet an officer of the Ghana Army to whom he offered money to have Dr. Nkrumah assassinated.
