NURSES’ TRAINING CURRICULUM

The nurses’ training curriculum had been revised by professional people for professional people. The change was long overdue and one which was very much needed, said the secretary of the Canterbury branch of the Registered Nurses’ Association (Mrs A. Fuldseth) when speaking to the Friends of the Hospital last evening on the Dominion conference of the association, held in New

Plymouth, and the new curriculum. The new curriculum had been in preparation for some time and it had been mentioned at the previous conference held at Invercargill, said Mrs Fuldseth. About four years ago a remit had come before the conference suggesting that the curriculum be revised every two years but this was obviously impracticable. The vote of thanks to the speaker was proposed by Mrs Arnold.
