The four officers taking the course are Lieutenants T. G. Martin (artillery instructor at Burnham). G. A. Hitchings (adjutant, 2nd Field Regiment, Wanganui), R. J. Pearce (adjutant, 6th Light Anti-aircraft Regiment, Auckland), and A. Harkness (artillery instructor at Papakura).
