Prices Decreased
r 'Maximum prices for basic poultry ration and standard laying and chick mashes have been reduced by amounts ranging from 6d to 3d a bushel by a new price order.
The new prices a bushel for the Christchurch metropolitan area, with the new prices for other Canterbury districts in parenthesis, are: basic poultrv ration, 5s 4Jd (5s 3|d); No. 1 standard laying mash. 5s 9£d (5s 7Jd); No. 2 standard laying mash, 5s 94d (5s 8d); No. 1 standard chick mash. 6s o£d (5s lOJd); No. 2 standard chick mash, 6s Id (5s lljd).
