(N.Z Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8.15 p.m.) CINCINNATI, May 4. Pancho Gonzales ran his professional tennis tour margin over Ken Rosewall, of Australia, to 43 matches to 20 last night when he beat the former Australian Davis Cup star, 6-3, 6-4.
Rosewall broke Gonzales’s service in the first game of the opening set, but Gonzales reeled off four games in a row and then went on to win. Gonzales gained a lead in the second set and held it.
In the other singles match, Pancho Segura beat the Australian, Dinny Pails, 8-4.
Tony Trabert, of Cincinnati, who was beaten by Gonzales in a professional tour last year, played in the doubles last night. He and Rosewall were beaten by Gonzales and Segura. The score was 14-12.
