S. F. Hill’s Ankle Injury Mending
The sprained ankle which prevented S. F. Hill from taking part in the two final trials at Wellington on Saturday, is mending rapidly and will allow him to tour with the 1957 Australian team. The New Zealand selectors confirmed this report from Wellington on Saturday before the team was chosen. It is also reported . that the selectors were in touch with Dunedin by telephone on Saturday to inquire the extent of a thigh injury suffered by J. B. Buxton during the trial match at Christchurch last Tuesday- It is understood that the injury will keep Buxton from football for another week or two.
