TRAPPED IN CAR IN RIVER
Two Drowned In Southland (New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL, May 5. Two men died when their car crashed through the railings of a bridge on the Centre Station hill road, in the Mossburn district, last night. The car plunged into the river below and the trapped occupants drowned. The car was found at 4 o’clock this morning. One of the men is aged 46 and the other 33, but their names are being withheld by the police until the relatives are informed.
