ANZAC DAY IN THE UNITED STATES.—The Australian Consul-General in San Francisco (Mr Melville Marshall) lays a wreath at the cenotaph to America’s Unknown Soldier in the military cemetery at the Presidio of San Francisco on April 25 as a 6th Army bugler sounds “Last Post.” Standing beside Mr Marshall are, from left: Mr Morris Nathan (leader of the Australian trade delegation visiting San Francisco), Mr R. M. Firth (New Zealand Consul-General), and Colonel C. E. Lundquist (Presidio post commander).
