“Thou Shalt Not Kill”
Sir, —Have these correspondents
who say we should not fight read the Bible through? There is a great difference between a nation which wages aggressive war and one which goes to save its people. The Bible tells us wars, etc., came upon us because of sin. In these days people would lose their freedom through listening to these “peace” people, who only do the work .of Satan. Let them read the prophecies and learn. God has a controversy with the nations and is going to bring them to the Valley of Megiddo to battle. On the League of Nations building, it said, “Peace and safety,” and did not “sudden destruction come”? Revelations tells us the angel was sent to take peace from the earth, so all the banding together of nations will' not save us from war.—Yours, etc., EZEK 38. May 2, 1957.
