Metliven District High School Jubilee

Sir. —I would like to thank Mr L G. Mauger for his interesting reference to the late Mr M. J. Irwin, a former headmaster of the Methven School. I regret that reference was not made to him in any speeches. But opportunity was given at the banquet to anyone wishing to add to the toast of

“Teachers, Past and Present.” In the booklet compiled by the jubilee committee, mention was made of Mr Irwin as well as all the other headmasters. My committee is anxious to produce a complete history of the school, and would be grateful if Mr Mauger, or anyone else interested, would write down anything suitable, and send it to the secretary of the jubilee committee.— Yours, etc., W. A. hart: Chairman, Methven H. School Jubilee Committee. April 30, 1957.
