WRECKED FISHING BOAT
Search For Body Abandoned (New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL, May 1. The police search for the body of Mr Cyril Waddick, who is believed to have been drowned when the fishing boat Gekeita was wrecked on Coal Island in Preservation Inlet recently, has been abandoned. The police party of Sergeant J. Harman and two constables flew back to Invercargill today. The body of Mr Athol Waddick was recovered near the wreck on Sunday.
