Girl Falls On Broken Jar
A nine-year-old girl, Lynette Andrea Arthur, of Kaikoura, who fell while carrying a jar down steps, severely gashed a wrist on the fragments of the jar. The accident occurred late on Tuesday afternoon. After being operated on at the Kaikoura Hospital, she was taken by St. John ambulance to the Burwood Hospital. Her condition last evening was satisfactory.
