Sealing Of Road To Selwyn Huts
The Springs County Council has applied to the National Roads Board for a subsidy for sealing a mile and a half of the main highway to the Selwyn Huts, according to a letter from the council received at a meeting yesterday of the Springston South Domain Board. The sealing of the road has been a subject of discussion at several meetings of the board. At a previous meeting it was reported that the council had started to prepare three miles of the road for sealing, but had stopped when it was discovered that a mile and a half was in the Paparua county.
