UNNATURAL OFFENCES ALLEGED
Trial In Auckland
(New Zealand. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 1.
Evidence of indecent acts which they alleged the accused committed against them, of posing for indecent photographs, and of efforts to break off unnatural associations with the accused were given by a number of male witnesses in the Supreme Court at Auckland today. They were giving evidence in. the trial of Cyril Ernie Richard Webber, aged 51, a company director, of Auckland, who is charged on 12 counts of committing unnatural offences against males and one charge of indecent assault on a male. Webber, who is represented by Mr Dickson and Mr Sanders, pleaded not guilty to z all charges. The trial is before Mr Justice T. A. Gresson and a jury. Mr Speight represents the Crown.
Before the evidence was taken his Honour agreed to an application for the supression of the names of all witnesses. The trial will be continued tomorrow.
