Semi-Finals Reached
(New Zealand Press Association) TAUMARUNUI, May 1. The semi-finalists in the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union autumn foursomes, who will play tomorrow morning, are Mesdames A. B. Marshall (Marton) and T. Marshall (Ohutu), Mrs G. Keys (Taumarunui) and Miss M. McDougall (Taumarunui), Mesdames K. Hole (Taiimarunui) and V. Legarth (Whangarei), and Mesdames C. McCormick (New Plymouth) and Cottrell (New Plymouth). Misses K. Rutherford and Miss W. Morgan (Christchurch) were eliminated in the quarter-finals this afternoon. The weather today was good except for a shower of rain about midday. AMBERLEY CLUB.— Mixed open tournament, 36 holes gross: G. Palmer and Mrs J. Foley; runnersup, B. Farquhar and Miss J.
